EATON XTPR MOTOR PROTECTOR SWITCHES
The XTPR is a 3 phase thermal-magnetic motor protective device incorporating adjustable bimetal trips for motor overload protections and magnetic trips to de-energize the motor circuit in case of a short circuit.

EATON- XTPR- Features, Benefits and Description
Features
- Raings: 10 Amp, 600 V AC - 5 HP/460 V,
7 ½ HP/575 V max. - UL listed/CSA certified. Approved for groups
installations with Either breaker of fuse. - Approved for world markets = VDE, IEC rated.
- Phase failure sensitive
- Adjustable thermal trips set at 14 X rated current.
- Open or door mounted handle, padlockable,
with 3 position Indication (ON, OFF, Trip) - Finger-safe construction.
- 35 mm DIN rail or panel mounting.
Benefits
- Approved by UL 508/CSA C22.2
No. 14 for use as a manual starter,
tap conductor protector and type E
self-protected combination starter. - Suitable for use in group motor applications.

Description
- The XTPR are UL listed
and CSA certified as HP rated motor controllers
which provide motor running overload protection. - In addition, they are UL listed and CSA certified
for group applications as per NEC 430-53(c)
and CEC part 1, Rule 28-206. - This means that a group of motors,
each protected and controlled by a XTPR
can be combined under
a single branch circuit short circuit and ground
fault protective device the maximum rating of
which is marked on each XTPR motor protector.
